COLLEGE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE

The College Academic Committee (CAC) is constituted as prescribed in the Regulations to formulate long term and short-term development programmes for the college to achieve academic excellence in tune with the policies of the University.

Functions:

Members of the committee give their suggestions and directions for the smooth and efficient functioning of the college in the following aspects:

Review the academic and other related activities of the college

Review the students and faculty development programs

Visualize and formulate perspective plans for the development and growth of the college

Prepare and review academic calendar and class formulate the faculty handbook

Review and update the college prospectus

Draft concise leave rule for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college

Decide the introduction of student’s uniform in the college

Promote research and extension activities in the college

Plan for sustaining the quality of education, quality improvement and accreditation of the college

Keep vigil on the attendance of teachers and their regularity in taking class

Review student’s attendance/malpractices in examinations

Oversee the internal examinations/evaluation/recording
